"It’s a scary thing trying to get help, but Crohn’s Counselling took a lot of that anxiety and fear out of the equation. I was able to get personalized assistance in helping me achieve my potential and feel like less of a prisoner to my condition."

FAQs
Do I need to sign up for a set amount of time?
No, you can choose to end the counselling or coaching at any time. I do ask that you try to give at least 2 weeks notice, simply because endings can be important in therapy and you can get the chance to review how the treatment has gone and what you can do going forward to take what you have learnt with you, but this is a recommendation rather than an obligation.
Will this treatment cure my Crohn’s Disease?
There is currently no known cure for Crohn’s Disease, only management of the condition. This treatment is aimed at managing the emotional impact of your condition. It is commonly accepted that stress can have a major affect on exacerbating your condition. Managing stress and anxiety can be a huge part of maintaining your health. Coaching can directly help physiologically in improving diet, sleep and other behaviours that can affect your condition which can all play a huge role in living as healthily as possible.
Do I have to do Coaching and Counselling together?
No, you can choose whether to do both, or just one. You can also choose the frequency of check-ins based on your availability and budget and can change this frequency at any time.
You may wish to start with coaching and then gradually reduce once some of the skills become second nature and then just maintain the counselling.
